i absolutely love subway tile, especially in a kitchen. one day i will have a house of my own and tiles of my very own too.

this is how my heart (and body) feels right now. ministry is kicking me in the butt (heart-wise and physically). i keep wondering when God is going to do something really huge and things are going to just fall into place and life and ministry are finally going to feel routine and rhythmic. so God, please show up and bring rhythm and to my life. but, as always i pray my heart trusts that you know what is better than i do. (just for the record though, that is really hard to truly think right now and i still kinda think i know what is best.)

patty griffin's new album downtown church is beautiful. i would highly recommend it. especially all creatures of our god and king and little fire. much of the songs were recorded at an old church in nashville. oh how i would have loved to be sitting in pew during that.

my desk needed a little updating, so i decided to spray paint the drawer pulls white and distress them a bit. i like the way it turned out and love that now it has a fresh new look that was very inexpensive!

zooey deschanel.

i kind of have a girl crush on zooey deschanel.





her style is impeccable, and so cute, feminine, colorful, preppy, and i just want to dress like her every single day. (notice lots of colored tights, flats, and even a headband or two in there as well.)
